This event was conceived by First Officer Mike Burr, a pilot with American Airlines and retired Naval Officer. Between coordinating the event nationally and answering the numerous requests for media interviews, Mike would like to offer the ability for teachers and students at schools across the country to write to him and ask him questions.

He has committed to try to personally answer as many such questions as he can.
