Fund Information
Americans United Flag Run, Inc. has received certification from the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable corporation. 100% of any money donated will be redistributed, after expenses, to the following specific funds. On February 20, 2002, redistribution of most of the proceeds from this event was accomplished. The figures following each fund are the amounts that were contributed in 2002. When the financial books on this event were closed for good, the balance on account was distributed in the same proportion as the amounts below.
- Flight 11/Flight 77 Memorial Fund:

- Flight Attendant Disaster Relief Fund:

- United Airlines MEC 911 Fund:

**NOTE: By February 2002, this fund was no longer accepting donations. In June 2002, disbursements were made to the following funds:
- $1,000: Victor Saracini Memorial Children’s Fund, in memory of Captain Victor Saracini, United Flight 175
- $1,000: Christa and Michael Horrocks Trust, in memory of First Officer Michael Horrocks, United Flight 175
- $2,000: ALPA Charitable Scholarship Fund, in memory of Captain Jason Dahl and First Officer Leroy Homer, Jr., United Flight 93
- Tailhook Educational Foundation:
$2,000
In Memory of Captain (AAL, RET) Rear Admiral (USN, RET) "Bud" Flagg
- Twin Towers Fund:
$10,000
For the families of the members of the uniformed services of the NYFD,
NYPD, EMS, PANYNJ, NYSOCA, and other government offices who lost their lives or were injured at the World Trade Center.
- 911 Relief Fund:
$5,000
Dedicated specifically to members of the military, civilian Pentagon employees, contractors, EMS workers, and families affected by the 9/11/2001 attack on America and her Pentagon.
