The East Haven fire department is absolutely awesome!

My husband and I were driving down Rte. 1 in East Haven trying to decided on our viewing position when we run right into the East Haven fire department with at least 6 fire trucks lining the street with lights on, 2 bucket ladder trucks forming an arch over the street and a flag hung from it and a bag piper. We cheered with them from the sidelines. The runners and motorcade came by exactly on time. It was great!

Best of luck with the rest of the run to LA. We will be following. It would be great if we could see the finish in LA on 11/10 on Fox 10 news.
