October 11, 2001 Dear Connecticut Runners, Thanks for your interest! Please look at the website for start times at the towns along Rt. 1. The whole route is on Rt. 1 through CT. Preferably go in 2 cars and park on either end of a town and then wait at the east end of town for the vans and runners. Run along side the trucks and flag carrier as we may need you to carry the flag if relief is needed. If you can't find someone take 2 cars we will provide transport back to your car but you may have to wait a while. This is a very worth while event to be involved in for everyone. Please try and go with the flow and join in and it will be a lot of fun! Ckeck the site for updates on where runners may be needed the most- especially in the wee hours west of Bridgeport. Even if it is not posted we could definitely use support in the towns west of Bridgeport due to the late, cold hour! ;-) Thank you so much and God Bless America
