Los Angeles Finale

Hello everyone!

I am back from being on the road in NM and AZ with the Flag Across America. I regretably have not received too many responses to our get together on Monday, November 12th. I hope that this is just an oversite and that most of you are planning to attend. I am looking forward to speaking to everyone and sharing stories.

I am leaving for Los Angeles tomorrow, Saturday Nov. 10th, for the finale. The Flag is due to arrive in Los Angeles on November 11th. You can watch the website for live webcams and hopefully you will catch us on National News. Be proud as you watch this and know that the Flag would not have reached its destination without each of you. I will be there for the ceremony, proudly representing the State of Louisiana. You can also check the website, www.flagrun2001.org, at the pictures link for updated Louisiana pictures and new diaries on the diaries link. Please feel free to send in any diaries or pictures you may have. I hope to keep all these things for my records and the more that are sent in, the better.

I will return Monday afternoon in time to attend our get-together/fundraiser at the Wellness Ctr. in Shreveport. I will bring with me all the pictures that I have been taking along the way and fill you in on what I've seen and experienced in the last couple of weeks. I will also have t-shirts with me. I have about 100 shirts in Large and X-large, so be prepared to take those off my hands for a $15.00 donation. It was also brought to my attention that most runners did not receive their "Registered Runner" cards and that you would like these. I will have plenty for everyone that attends.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again. I hope you are planning to attend.
