Information update no. 3 October 17, 2001.
Thanks to all of you who have volunteered to be a part of the Flag Run in New Mexico. We are getting plently of runners, but there is room for everyone to run and carry the flag. We will post a schedule within a few days. The plan is to have special events in Clovis on Nov 1, Albuquerque on Nov 3 and Socorro on Nov 4. Details will follow. I need help in the following areas. People to help with planning and coordination of drivers for vehicles, commmunications (FM, HAM radios, cell phones), food and water. I also need drivers for the entire or a portion of the route. We need two more vehicles to shuttle runners. More to follow. If you can help call Ruth at 505-555-5555 or rpfriesen@aol.com. The route is posted on the NM page of the www.flagrun2001.org page on the internet. This is getting exciting. If you have any ideas let us know. Thanks for being a part of this event that as it approaches us in New Mexico is begging to generate a lot of good well.
