Web Site Update & CD

Dear Americans United Flag Across America Participant:

One of our sponsors, Minerva Systems, has graciously offered to continue to host the web site for another year. This will allow people around the world to continue to visit the site and reflect on this historic event. Even though we expect the web site to be up for another year, the content will be mostly static, with no new diaries, pictures, or pages added. Still, we have added a few significant pages in the last few weeks:

• Commendations: A page containing links to commendations, citations, proclamations, etc.
• Thanks: Special thanks from national team members are on the main diary page.
• Lost & Found: If you lost something on the run, it's *possible* we may have found it.
• Diaries: We now have over 215 individual diary entries.
• Pictures: We now have over 1,300 pictures.

Additionally, for those of you with broadband (high speed) Internet connections, we also have a new "slide show" that displays random pictures from across the nation. If you have a high-speed connection to the Internet, you can view the slide show here:

In the next few weeks, all the contents on the web site will be archived onto a CD (including the slideshow and other multi-media components). We are currently evaluating interest in duplicating the CD of the web site and making it available, at cost, to partiticipants and other interested parties. We expect the cost for an individual to order one of these CDs will be $10-15 including all shipping & handling. By having the web site available on your own CD, you will be able to browse the web site forever, at very high speed, enjoying all the memorable text and multimedia content.
