Hello! I am Kathryn Good.
I had the great priviledge to run the flag today from Sun City Grand on the West side of Phoenix, Arizona towards Wickenburg, AZ. This was a very touching moment not only to carry the flag that has gone almost across the United States but to also have the priviledge of carrying the names/airlines/and flight numbers of those who died on the flights on September 11, 2001. I ran with a tremendous group of women from my surrounding area of Litchfield Park, AZ and a young gentleman who came from the far East side of Phoenix and a young man who was with the Tonopah Fire Department. I cannot forget to mention "Torpedo" the grayhound dog who really felt we were going far too slow. Wonderful dog and owner Janet. The fireman arrived just in time to help us along our way. He was certainly a messenger as I am sure many people felt the firemen were that unforgetable day that has brought us to this moment. It truly is a feeling of being a part of something much greater than ones self! The mission, the inspiration, the teamwork! My hat is off to all of us. United we stand! The mission in this great effort will not happen overnight. Thank You to those who initiated this effort and inspired and supported the effort. I wish all in America could feel what I felt today! God Bless US All!!
