Dear Lisa and everyone else (and all others behind-the-scenes that we don't know about)
!Wow! What a wonderful event you have all put together!
Being able to participate in the flag run was so important to me - in fact, THE most important thing! It was an honor to run with you, in honor of all the flight victims and all victims of 9/11. It was so nice that the run was opened up to ordinary civilians so we could show that we care and support all of you, as well to honor the victims. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Lisa, you were a great inspiration to all of us in Norwalk. I know you've been getting tons of emails, so I'll keep this short, but every detail of the middle-of-the-night run through Norwalk (and I'm sure other towns!) was so special. The comaraderie that was developed among runners, vehicles, police, and the sleepy cheering crowds was wonderful and amazing in such a short time! Also, I surely wish we had more time to chat and get to know all of you, the runners, drivers, coordinators, (and everyone else involved) that were taking well-deserved snoozes. YOU ALL ARE AMAZING! Keep up the wonderful efforts.
Take care and God Bless,
Cathy McGettigan
