- On Tuesday evening October 23 at 1900 (7:00 pm MDT) there will be a
meeting to further coordinate the logistics of the Flag Run in New Mexico.
If you want to assist with logistical aspects of the Flag Run, you are
invited to attend. It is not necessary for runners to attend, although you
are certainly welcome.
The meeting will be at SY Jackson Elementary School at 4720 Cairo NE. It is
east of Juan Tabo north of Montgomery. Cairo is a side street near Furr’s
Cafeteria and Eldorado High School. Turn north on Cairo past 2 stop signs.
Turn right up the alleyway adjacent to the playground. Go to the back of
the parking lot and enter the lighted glass doorways. The cafeteria is
immediately to the right.
- Laurie Cummings is doing a terrific job of organizing runners. Please
direct all running related questions to her at Lcumm80@aol.com.
- We still need vehicles, drivers and people who would be willing to
assist with overall coordination efforts. If you live in or are familiar
with any of the small towns along the route, we would like to talk to you
about finding support for fuel and food. (Support in Clovis, Albuquerque
and Socorro is also welcomed!)Call Ruth or me at 555-5555.
- Thank you all for making this event possible in New Mexico. It will be
a memorable experience.
