Hi Susan,

I just wanted to thank you for the privilege of participating in the Flag Across America Run and for the opportunity to carry our flag and run with my granddaughter (Micah) and that nice young man David. I want to acknowledge you and your staff for the great job of putting this all together so professionally. I met some wonderful people yesterday and I feel confident that our nation will rise to the challenge as, together, we face this attack against freedom and the American way of life. I'm reminded of the flag the So. Carolinians flew during the early days of our nations battle against British tyranny. As I recall, it had a yellow background with a rattle snake with 13 rattles. The inscription, I'm sure you remember, said, "Don't Tread On Me." Well, this Flag Across America effort is passing on that same message. Woe be to those who would destroy us. The unity, spirit and increase commitment to God demonstrates to me that w! e, as a nation, are again refocusing on the things that are important. I believe God will honor that and sustain us in this battle.
