After hearing the concept of this overwhelming event, I knew that in some small way I wanted to be a part. I want to sincerely thank each and every volunteer and sponsor for making this possible.
I will never forget taking our honored flag and carrying down the streets of my hometown Norman, Oklahoma. This symbolic event captured the heart of so many and reminded us to be diligent in this time of national mourning and sacrifice. Those stars and stripes mean so much to the people that gaze upon it, leaving an imprint forever in our mind of those that have fought to make our freedom possible.
Thank you again to all that have brought this symbol of patriotism and freedom across our country. I am forever in your debt.
