Hi, my name is Ellisa Weaver, and my mom Susan Weaver was one of the Oklahoma state coordinators. I just returned home tonight after spending 2 days on the road, but I have to go to school tomorrow! I was privileged enough to be able to run with Colonel Edmonston, a veteran, as he carried the flag in his wheelchair. I also got to carry and run with the flag. I have never seen anything like this before in my life! It is amazing when you catch a first glimpse of the flag! Last night I saw it for the first time in Ardmore, OK, and it just sent chills through my body. We had a ceremony tonight at the Murrah Bombing Memorial in Oklahoma City, which was a very touching and wonderful time. I want to say thanks to all of the "nationals", my mom, and the other state coordinators. WAY TO GO!!!
