What an honor it was to be able to run with our nation's colors. I had this
feeling that I needed to do something in response to 9/11/01. I kept giving
to the different funds, but I always had a feeling that I needed to do
something more. When I heard about the run across america, I knew this was
the "something" that was missing. I can't began to tell you the pride I
felt carring the U.S. Flag while representing the United States Army
National Guard. It was an event that I will remember for as long as I live.
