THE TIME-LINE AND MAP WILL BE POSTED SOON
- It is imperative now that ALL runners and support people identify the
base camp that you will be reporting to – day and/or night. The base camps
are as follows:
- Leg 1
- Longview
- Mineola
- Terrell
- Leg 2
- Dallas
- Denton
- Gainesville
- Leg 3 (MOST NEEDED!)
- Shamrock
- Groom
- Amarillo
- Hereford
NOTE: We do not need to know the "leg" you are planning to run, we NOW need to
know which BASE CAMP you will be reporting to! PLEASE SPECIFY ONE OF THE
FOLLOWING:
- Longview
- Mineola
- Terrell
- Dallas
- Denton
- Gainesville
- Shamrock
- Groom
- Amarillo
- Hereford
BASE COMMANDERS ARE NEEDED IN MINEOLA, TERRELL, AND ALL OF LEG 3.
WE NEED MEDICAL SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS AT BASE CAMPS.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO DRIVE THE RV MOBILE COMMAND CENTER THAT FOLLOWS
THE FLAG.
WE NEED LIASONS FOR EACH MILATARY UNIT INVOLVED.
WE NEED AMBER ROTATING LIGHTS THAT ATTACH MAGNETICALLY TO A VEHICLE AND
PLUG INTO A CIGARETTE LIGHTER.
REMINDER: 100% of your contributions go to the victims’ families. There
are many ways to contribute. Check the web site.
Things are quickly coming together so spread the word!! We encourage
everyone one of you to run. All of you will have an oppportunity to carry
the flag!
