I wanted to share with everyone the excitement that The Silva Family experienced following the FlagRun into central Virginia, we followed the Run from Petersburg to Southhill Virginia, cheering and offering words of encouragement to the runners, and getting the local communities involved with the run coming through their areas! A HUGE THANKS goes to Russell Weaver from Sadler Automotive Group in SouthHill who was able to provide the runners with a firetruck for noise and lights and excitement, with little notice he came through big time. People came out wondering what was going on!!! And they were in for a treat! They were on their cellphones/cordless telephones calling everyone! It was exciting! We would like to think we had a "team" going with the runners, who were excited to see our HUGE flag!! They would yell to us it was like seeing family again, it was sad seeing them at our last point in Southhill, but we could not go any further.

Thank you for allowing us to participate and be part of an honorable thing, for such a worthy cause.
