To all my good friends who have volunteered to be a part of the AAmericans United Flag Run Across New Mexico greetings. Thank you for volunteering to run in the Flag Across America run. It will be an inspiring event for all participants. At this point, each segment of the route has been assigned to a specific runner, to ensure that we have coverage for the entire route. However, we anticipate and expect that runners other than the “designated” runner will join in. Due to the logistics required to schedule additional runners we are unable to assign you to a specific time and place to run. HOWEVER, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO COME AND RUN WITH US AT THE TIME AND PLACE OF YOUR CHOOSING, FOR THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT YOU DESIRE. You do not need to notify us where you will be running, just come join the group. The route, schedule, and staging areas for runners to meet, as well as runners instructions, are posted on the website at www.flagrun2001.org on the New Mexico page. Thanks for asking to be a part of this show of patriotism and unity. I appreciate your understanding about this event and how difficult it is to assign everyone to a specific segment. We'll see you on the route!
